Weekend Wrap Up : Week 44

Happy Tuesday peeps!

Last Saturday, I went to Kidzoona - Fairview Terraces with the kids. My good friend, Ate Mhey gave us free tickets.

She works for Kidzoona kaya may complimentary tickets siya. Pag nahiram ko, I'll post them here.

After that, we went to my cousin's birthday celebration. We sang our hearts out.

Sunday, we rest all day. Bumawi ako sa 48 hours na walang tulog.

Yesterday, it was Duz' 31st birthday. One of the things I love about him is his simplicity. He's not the type of person who adores big and extravagant parties. So we celebrated his day in a very simple way, just the three of us.

Ang handa namen ay talagang pang-tatlo lang. Haha. Duz cooked pasta and fried chicken for Chloe. Duz also prepared Shawarma Plate. I bought pita bread at Mister Kebab last Friday.

Chloe's gift was her dad's favorite chocolate, Beng-Beng. Haha. Sobrang babaw lang talaga namen.

I gave him shirts. I also bought his favorite perfume.

Eto pa... I bought a new phone pero itinaon ko na makuha on the day of his birthday. Binalot ko sa gift wrapper at nasurprise siya when he opened it. Alam naman niya na sakin yun and I just wanted to share it with him. Bottom line, we were both happy.

After a sumptuous meal, he got busy checking our new phone.

I was on leave last night to spend extra day with them. He shared some of his frustrations and realizations. We talked about our plans and our goals for our future. Di namen namalayan, nagbubukang-liwayway na. It was truly a simple yet meaningful birthday celebration. A day full of faith, hope and love.

How about you? How was your weekend? What did you do on your husband's birthday?
