Tasty Tuesday: Stir-Fry Tofu with Bean Sprouts

It's Tuesday so I'll share a recipe.

Weeks ago, I cooked a very simple dish.

It's budget-friendly and healthy at the same time





Ingredients

1cup vegetable oil
5 pcs tofu, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3cups bean sprouts
2 onion, sliced into 1 1/4 inch lengths
1 sachet oyster sauce



Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat, add the tofu, and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  2. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the oil, then drain the rest from the wok. Increase the heat to medium-high and heat the reserved oil. Add the garlic and bean sprouts and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Add the onions, oyster sauce and tofu and stir-fry for another 1 minute. Serve.

It's less than P100.

  1. I think my jowa will like this pero ako, hindi kami bati ng gulay. Hehehe! Ang cheap no?! I also cook at home then babaunin ko sa office. Nakakasawa kasi yung mga nasa carinderya or sa mga fast food. =)

    1. Hindi rin ako mahilig sa gulay dati.. pero nakapang-asawa ako ng Ilokano kaya nasanay na lang.
