Love to the Max: Part 1 of Day 1 (Workshops Edition)

The seminar was scheduled last Feb7-8. Call time was 7am. I had my Friday schedule moved to 9pm-6am.

Duz and Chloe woke up at around 4am. Duz brought Chloe to our Dgroup leaders at 5am. We were so blessed to have them look after our child while we were in the retreat. They volunteered. May God bless them more!!! =)

First time namen gawin yun. Hindi daw umiyak ang bagets and I'm proud of her.

Pagkatapos ihatid ni Duz si Chloe, dumirecho na siya sa Technohub para sunduin ako. We arrived at the hotel past 7am.

We registered then went straight inside the function hall.

We were seated in the second row. And I kinda like it so I can give my full attention to the speakers.

We were given the Participant's Manual and our IDs.

Our schedule for the 2-day seminar. I was so excited to see the things we were about to do for the next 2 days.

And guess what Duz' favorite... yung 9:30 pm.

Close up naten ha.

Yung honeymoon daw. Loka! =)

Before the seminar started, we had coffee. Siguro naka-3 cups ako the whole day para lang hindi ako makatulog. Take note, galing pa akong graveyard shift.

The first topic was God's Blueprint. I'll discuss it thoroughly in a separate post.

There were 100 couples, that's 200 participants. We were divided into small group. Each small group was composed of five couples and (couple) group leaders.

After each topic, we discussed the message within our small group. We shared our own ideas and experiences related to the topic.

We met our group in the Podium Ballroom.

After the first workshop, we had our lunch.

We had soup, macaroni salad, fried chicken (tasted like Max's), mixed veggies, rice, chocolate eclair and iced tea. The food didn't disappoint.

After lunch, honestly - medyo inaantok na ko. Syempre puyat ako, busog tapos aircon pa - hay... sarap matulog. Pero inisip ko na lang how blessed we were to be there kaya nagigising ako. Dapat masulit.

Afternoon session discussed Forgiving from the Heart and Nurturing Marital Intimacy. Just like the first topic, I'll discuss these thoroughly in a separate post respectively. Abangan niyo na lang. Nakakatuwa, lalo na yung Marital Intimacy. Dame kong natutunan. ;)

After the 3rd session, we met our small group again. This time, we were assigned in one of the KTV rooms. In fairness, maganda ang mga KTV rooms sa ACE Hotel. Perfect sa mga small parties.

That's it. After the 3rd workshop, we were given our hotel room keys.

We were given almost 2 hours to freshen up for dinner.

I'll show you our hotel room in my next post. Then, the dinner and the renewal of vows after that.

I'm so excited to share everything (as much as possible) to you. Watch out for it.

Kelangan matapos ko ang series na 'to dahil 2 weeks ago na yung seminar.

Habang fresh pa at di ko pa masyadong nakakalimutan ang mga pangyayari. Strike while it's hot!
