Review: Executive Optical vs. Verona Optical

Since I was suffering from irritated eyes and cannot wear contact lenses, I was pushed to buy a pair of eyeglasses.

So after Privie's despidada last Saturday, my two friends accompanied me to SM Fairview.

At first, sabi samen nung sales assistant sa EO, wala daw silang ganung promo.

I asked the girl who was assisting us if she can call the EO branch at Starmall to confirm their on going promo. Kung sure na, tsaka kame pupunta dun.

I wanted to make sure muna para hindi sayang ang biyahe. Sige daw, sabi nung girl.

So nag-antay naman kame. After a while, lumapit samen yung manager.

Well actually, makakuha ka talaga ng discounted frame and lens that if kung ang grade mo ay less than 300.

Ang quote sakin, more or less P2000 ang aabutin.

Ayokong gumastos ng malaki. 2 years ago kasi, nakakuha ako ng salamin sa Quiapo for P500.

No time to go to Quiapo.

Spare lang for my contact lens.

My friend Audrey who also wears eyeglasses said, there's one last optical shop that we can check.

It's located at SMF ground floor. The name of the shop is Verona.

Last chance na. When we entered the shop, the manager caught my attention because he's a Korean.

They also have promos.

Since, they offer free eye check up if you are going to buy eyeglasses or contact lens, we asked them if they can check my friend's eyes instead of mine. Pumayag sila.

After paying for the eyeglasses they gave me P500 worth of GC that I can use on my next purchase. Wala pang expiration yung GC.

Very generous sila or talagang magaling yung marketing strategy nila.

Overall, the customer service of Verona is way better than Executive Optical. My friends and I were very satisfied with the service. Sulit dun yung P999 na eyeglasses ko.

Pasok sa budget. Pasok sa quality. Pasok sa porma.

I'll show you the eyeglasses I got on my next post.

Will I recommend it? Yes! Go na! Check it for yourself.

  1. About the customer service of EO, well, it depends siguro sa lugar. Pero sa experience ko naman, okay sila! They have variety sunglasses for sale and I am satisfied with all the products I bought from them.

    1. I was a loyal customer of EO since highschool. I hope they train their employees to have same standards. Thanks for sharing :)
