Family Problems

Every family has its own problems. No family is perfect. Each and every family has its own strengths as well as weaknesses. Often, families face endless challenges lining up, which can cause stress and tension in the minds of its members.

Last weekend, I got the chance to talk to at least three friends. I spent few minutes over the phone checking how are they doing.

1st Friend:
She told me different stories about family problems she's facing.

2nd Friend:
She found out that her husband has a mistress. They have two kids (mga inaanak namen). The couple is very close to my heart kaya sobra akong nalulungkot.

3rd Friend:
Her daughter died few weeks ago. Her baby was 4-years old just like Chloe. I asked what happened to her. Nauntog daw yung baby niya sa double deck then after few hours nag-vomit and nag-seizure. Nung dinala nila sa hospital, comatose na. Inoperahan pa yung bata - brain surgery. Pero magang-maga na yung brain niya so after few hours, the baby girl passed away. The loss of a child is the most devastating experience a parent can face and missing the child never goes away. She has another 3 kids to take care of, wala pa silang trabaho mag-asawa. I can never imagine how I can handle my friend's situation.

I face a lot of family problems right now. I have problems with Duz, with my kids, with my mom, with my siblings and with my in-laws. One way or the other, we have family problems. There's no exception to the rule.

After hearing my friends' stories, I realized - normal lang pala ako. Akala ko kasi, I have the worst family.

May God be with us.
