Review: Janet's Pares and Grill

Last Sep. 11, 2013 (Wednesday), when I arrived home I immediately woke up Duz. I asked him if he wants to have breakfast outside. Of course, he agreed.

We've been to Janet's few years ago but we want to try it again. Janet's is one of the famous pares house in Novaliches. It's located near TV 5 and almost just in front of SM Novaliches.

It started as a small eatery in 2000 that caters to residents of nearby villages and subdivisions. Now, it also caters to SM employees. It expanded through the years and now it looks like a fast food chain. The place is air-conditioned and it has a second floor that can be reserved for functions.

We arrived at Janet's 7:30am. The place is not yet crowded. We tried some of their specialties.

Ambiance is nice because it's air-conditioned. Service? We waited for around 10 minutes before our orders were served. I thinks that's normal. The taste of the food is okay. Serving? It's quite small. Price is reasonable. Our total bill is only P208.

If we compare it, the taste of the food is way better at Nicky's. The serving is also bigger and prices are more affordable at Nicky's. The only advantage of Janet's is their air-conditioned place.

We'll check if we can go back at Janet's to try their other specialties.

I'm looking for someone who likes to join me in doing this "Food Trip in Novaliches". Anyone who knows a good place to eat along Quirino Hi-way and would like to share his/her reviews. Of course we'll eat together before we share our thoughts on the restaurants or eatery that we are going to try. If you're interested, please comment below and I will get in touch with you. Thanks!
