BELLAROCCA: Day 2 (Part 1)

May 28, 2013 (Tuesday)
I have always wanted to go to Bellarocca. I've heard tales of its grandeur and exclusivity. But for budget travelers like me, the normal rates are just too pricy.
It's our 2nd day. Supposedly, we are going to wake up as early as possible so we can witness the sunrise at the highest part of the resort. I woke up at around 5 am and made our coffee. I also asked Duz to get ready so we can go out of our room before the sun goes up. He can hardly move and can't resist the bed. It was like lying on a big cloud.

Before we actually finish dressing up, the sun was already up. Ambilis, grabe!

So we just decided to check the lap pool and bar area. Remember, were the only guests in the resort so it's very quiet and serene that time.

Then we went to the Gym and Fitness Center. It was huge and the facilities are well-maintained. First, we played table tennis. Of course, it's Duz's expertise. Short chikka. He joined a regional tournament when he was in highschool. This is the sport that he really loves and he's really good at it. I, on the other hand, can't even hit the ball. Haha. Naging taga-pulot lang tuloy si Duz.

Ping-pong

We stayed on the treadmill for about 30 minutes. That was a good start.
After the exercise, we went to the restaurant and had our first breakfast. We had soft rolls, coffee/chocolate Tapsilog and Bangsilog. I read a lot of rave about the soft roll and I admit it’s extra delicious.

After the delightful brekky, we returned to our hotel room to freshen up. I called the Front Desk and scheduled a Resort Tour. We were so frenzied to check the whole resort.
Let the pictures speak for themselves.

More photos around the resort.

And here are DuzEm’s pics.

We definitely enjoyed the tour. It became more entertaining because the OIC who went with us spilled the beans and answered my who-are-the-celebrities-who-stayed-in-this-room questions. What I remember the most was where Derek Ramsey and Angelica Panganiban stayed. ;)
After that star-packed tour, we played billiards in the Entertainment room to cool down.

Soon after that, we lazed the afternoon away on the bed while watching movies.

Watch out for the Part 2 post.
